There are 2 new patches available - retail 714 meg and dev 217 meg. The stable Retail branch is now 64 bit. The dev build is apparently a bit flaky at the moment from what I read on the BD forums.
Patch Notes (via Steam) - covers both patches.

Thanks, Tarot. Not sure if I want to install the new retail on my Mac. I have three items in the chain here.
Only element of Russing roulette worth trying might be would Mojave / WINE / 64 bit toolset still work? Could try it on a partition I suppose.
Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition 1.79 Stable versus Development Build 8193.1.
Given the fixes to 1.79 Stable, I am wondering whether 8193.1 would be a better version to use for playing NWN Mods.
Does anyone have any thoughts, experiences or recommendations to share?
@Tarot_Redhand, is the stable version available anywhere other than Steam? I’m thinking for the school that we could maybe update over the Christmas holidays. I think our copies were from GOG though.
@jimdad55 The stable release is just on steam and BD atm. However, I think when it is available on GOG it will be less of a bug fest than it currently is. There have been 2 dev patches since the stable release, in order to test that the bug fixes work. I suspect there may be one or more yet to come.
@Surazal FWIW I would suggest waiting until there is a bug fix to the stable release and the stable release is actually available on GOG too.

@Tarot_Redhand many thanks. I have already switched to the “Stable” version. I’m wondering whether I am better off on 8193.2. Perhaps, as you suggest, I will wait to see how long they take to update the Retail version.
On Discord, niv mentioned 8193.2 - released yesterday to development branch - that another stable with all the hotfixes included (8193.1 and 8193.2) would be out very soon.
FP!
Retail version has now been patched with the contents of the dev build patches. Patch notes are -

(3 different sets of notes)

And the patch is now out on GOG too.

Which means that currently both the dev build and the retail build across all platforms have the same build number - 8193.3 (you may have missed the last dev build patch - I did until this morning).

There is another new patch for the retail branch. At the time of writing this it is available for steam and gog but not yet for the bd client. Patch notes here.
[edit]
Now on BD client as well. This patch has the side effect of the retail branch having a newer build number than the development branch now…

That’s absolutely the Xmas gift I was hoping for!
