When it came to leveling up and adding spells to casters it was always on level 9 and you could have 2 spells so I happily added all the level 9 spells and then last night realised you can add spells of any level You just have to move the screen back to whatever level you want !
Can I reset this and start again ? There doesn’t seem to be an option to swap out spells with the little arrow things and most of the ones I’ve got now for the party ( and me ) are useless.
You could enter the Debug mode, and award a negative number of experience so you change back the number of levels you need (“giveXP -12345” for instance), and give back the same number of XP (although I noticed that in some cases the number of points deducted is not the same as what was typed in the console, check the starting level of XP so you don’t lose/give too much ).
Then you’ll get the level up option reactivated. The drawback there is that it will affect all companions, and you’ll have to choose everything (feats, skills, spells).
4760’s suggestion works and I’ve done that on more than one occasion. It has the advantage of allowing you to go back only a few levels if that is all you need.
If you only want to do your PC without affecting companions, try Clangeddin’s Rebuild tool. It allows you to redo your last level-up or go all the way back to level 1 with the exceptions that you cannot change your starting class or character creation feats.
Thank you both, I think I’ve only got to back up until level 18 because that was when the 9th level spells sort of peaked and I’m happy to do everybody again, they’re all messed up apart from Okku and that’s only because he hasn’t got any spells !
Safira’s spells are total rubbish unless you want something like bears endurance and fox’s cunning, I had to buy some scrolls to get a fireball spell for crafting. I thought red wizards were supposed to be scary… “I’m warning you, back off unless you want me to buff you !”
Everybody just went back to school and with this amount of destructive power there’s about to be an environmental disaster in Mulsantir and if enemies don’t get turned into chickens then one of the three possibilities can vampiric feast them… Bring on the gods !
Only issue was losing the spirit eater feats so I had to console them back in, if anybody else does this the feat numbers are… 1976, 1982,1983,1985 and 2125. 1982 is bestow life force and I think that’s just if you were being good in the forest and not eating the woodman.
