Codi_Sigil Doors FIX?(RESOLVED)

Is there a updated version of the Codi Sigil Doors somewhere? The ones we have almost all have the issue of either the door handles moving when you try to open the door but not the door it
stays put . .or the door moves and the handles do not.

Are you talking about these doors? They seem to work fine.


No these ones and the rest of the single type doors in that lot

I’m unfamiliar with those doors. It’s part of the Sigil Exterior (CODI content from NWN1), I suppose? Maybe the NWN port was incorrect.

That’s because they don’t have any collision box defined.

The stock single door models don’t have collision boxes. I think they just use the default bounding box. What’s funky is that most of the Sigil models use the PLC_MC_TDOOR skeleton but they have a wildcard in attached models column. That isn’t how the stock doors with that skeleton are set up.

I assume this means the Doors have not been fixed / updated ? Or Is there just something broken in the 2da?

I’m guessing probably not. They would need to be redone with a proper skeleton, collision meshes, and animation. To do that, we would first need to see how they were supposed to work in NWN. I look at PLC_PS_Door01.mdb, for example, and it looks like one half of a door.

Ed.: In checking further, it looks like the multiple parts may just be because they are separate texture files. We may just need to consolidate the textures into single files. Let me give it a try.

@Arianna0 I went through the first three doors and consolidated the parts and textures. Can you try these to see if they work now?

So the 3 doors now keep creatures from walking through them, but 200003 is missing textures for some reason, I checked the mdb and it says its included

I adjusted the texture on door 01 so it fits better and can be turned around for an opposing texture

Okay, so minor texturing issues aside, that appears to address the issue. I’ll see what I can do about the rest. Thanks.

P. S. I think the solid vertical beam on the first door is supposed to go along the hinge edge; it looks like you put it on the opposite side.

I have discovered that if you use these as double doors . . both have to be open for anyone to go through them . . . even just blocking half the doorway prevents movement THROUGH the doorway

Also got the texture fixed on door 03

played with the texture on 01 a bit more and got something that looks decent I think

I should be able to make a double door version fairly easily.

Right, the pack is complete and tested in game; I uploaded it to the same link above.

Please do let me know if any of the doors don’t work for you. If it’s okay, I’ll include them in my Door Set as a separate download.

And they are not mine to start with, I think they would make a good addition to our collections now that they work right, so they should be offered up one never has enough door types
