Alien Invasion
Alien technologies and adaptations to a (mostly) human world, like organic armours, alien cyborgs, quake 4 like cyborgs, mutants caused by alien virus, etc.
Back to adventures in space
Let’s make anything related to Spelljammer ! Using the new lore or the old one. New ships, new space monsters, new helms, new planets, prefabs, cosmic tilesets, scripts systems, etc. etc. And not to forget, you can also improve/debug/expand the old version of the NWN Arcane Space tileset. Three cheers… Set sail for the stars!
Be not Afraid
Compared to demonic entities, D&D Angels seem kinda boring. But luckily, there are some interesting depictions that we can take from the “biblically accurate angels” - the mysterious, creepy and bizarre! Seraphims, Ophanims or Cherubims as well as some of the more interesting ones from DnD (there have to be some) as well as some heavenly objects and structures. Let’s give the “good guys” something to work with, cause for now the fiends are taking all the fun!
Cathedrals
If you compare to churches, cathedrals sure are in a superior league. Frequently they mark home for an uberpriest(ess). These buildings are bigger, richer, very sophisticated architecturaly speaking, presenting quasi-incredible feats of engineering. Let’s make our own holy/neutral/evil cathedrals. Think about what you should add (exterior and interior) to our existing Neverwinter Nights temples to magnify or embellish them to the point we can call them awesome cathedrals: high bell towers, balconies, enormous vaults, buttresses, stone annexes, great stained glass windows of all forms and subjects, lots of rich statues, gargoyles, big bells, cupolas, giant deity symbols, extravagant altars, monstrous organs, praying stalls, luxurious carpets, holy/unholy water pools, gold, incense, silk and platinum everywhere… you get the idea… Reverb sounds, music or meditative style songs will improve the experience even more. Prefabs are welcome of course.
Lords of Madness - Aberration Kingdoms
Personally I love the D&D take on the Lovecraftian mythos in form of the cruel aberrations, especially the really cool approach in the sourcebook “Lords of Madness” and its descriptions of the origins and terrific forms that these baddies can take. The content could be everything from item icons with that special alien touch to creatures like the fearsome Aboleths, all kind of Beholder kins like the Death Kiss or Spectator, the alien Grell or minions like the Chitine, Choldrith, Chuul, Destrachan or even a Gibbering mouther to placeables like strange Illithid machinery as recently seen in BG3 to full tilesets of ancient and alien lairs.
Mechanus
Everything about the plane, placebles, new Modron models, an interior or exterior tileset. Prefabricated areas with Placeables wheels, loadscreens and whatever comes to mind.
Not of This Time
Creatures and objects from the distant past and distant future brought into the current time, where they really don’t belong. Could include things like distant dragon ancestors, ancient more feral and bestial version of orcs, ****** erectus or neanderthals, maybe some fae halfway transformed intro and elves or some giant squids and snakes, mindflayers as time travellers, time portals, etc.
Puppeteers
Rocky houses, lost ruins, jungles, creepy castles, dark crystals, weird machines, alien wild animals, antropomorphic dinosaurs, hairy boogaboos.
Weird West
The wild, wild west of cowboy fame. But not just vanilla spaghetti western: a western setting with horror and magic elements. Fire elemental-powered locomotives, undead Indians, magic gold panning, +4 gatling guns, haunted saloons, half-orc prostitutes, demonic telegraph switches, arcane aliens, etc.
Please note: Suggestions always welcome!
