I have created a custom time stop spell since i didn’t liked how the EffectTimeStop worked in NWN2(is buggy as hell) so, i tried to adapt the Time Stop spell of D&D 3.5, here is the description of my custom spell:
Custom time stop spell description:
Summary
Caster Level(s): Wizard / Sorcerer 9
Innate Level: 9
School: Transmutation
Descriptor(s):
Component(s): Verbal
Range: Personal
Area of Effect / Target: Caster
Duration: 1d4 + 1 rounds
Save: None
Spell Resistance: No
This spell creates a 80-feet zone where the time cease to flow for everyone but you. While the time stop is in effect, all creatures are invulnerable to damage and effects and can’t be targeted by spells or attacks, all creatures(except you) are frozen in place and can’t take any actions. Most spellcasters use the additional time to improve their defenses, summon allies, or flee from combat.
I already have the effect coded and works perfectly, i wanted to know your opinions regarding the description, if you have implemented it differently or seen a custom time stop spell on a PW or if it would be better to implement the D&D3e version(NWN1) which gives you the option of using it offensively.
Also, i was watching a NWN1 video and noticed that the spells casted while time stop was active were doing damage instantly instead of at the end of the effect so, it could be possible to adapt it.
