I’m not able to edit my own blog entry. The body field says, “This field has been disabled because you do not have sufficient permissions to edit it.”
I had that problem and I think @niv solved it.
On the other hand you could use the blog feature on the wiki. here’s an example of mine. It’s not very crowded up there as only myself, @Symphony and @Pstemarie have made use of it so far.

Seems odd. You do have the Author permissions for posting Blogs. Let me see what is going on here.

I found two Blog Entries by you that had Full HTML still listed, and dropped it down to Filtered HTML as allowing Full HTML site wide by any member was deemed a security risk by Niv. Some projects, and blogs included, come up now and again with this.
You should be good to go.
