Has any one ever tinkered with this file? Any successes?

I tinkered with it some months ago to get hoof sounds. There was a lot of trouble getting it to work, but I managed to fix it in the end. Don’t remember how I managed it, but I have edited the 2da file.

Since I’m using a simpler version of 4760’s Horse Riding in the module I’m currently working on, I thought it would have been cool if there were hoof (is that the right word?) sounds from the horses when they walk. I thought that maybe one could use Lance’s model of using the Get2DAString and then maybe change the walking sounds. I found the 2da file footstepsounds.2da which appears to control which sounds are used. If I could find samples and edit this 2da file this might be possible. However…

Thanks, I’ll have a closer look at it. Just wanted to be sure it actually works first
