I have now added a demo module as a separate download. Included with the module there is also a demo hak and an erf with the blueprints for the shields. I have to admit to being slightly surprised that nobody requested these before now. The above link takes you to the project page.

The preceding demo etc. were for EE. Now added a version for 1.69/Diamond as well.

Thanks for this, Tarot. As you know Iā€™ve just completed the custom shield tutorial and looks great. The demo module is also good as a starting point. Only thing Iā€™d add is that I went in through the game itself rather than just testing the module from the toolset because poor little Aluvian Darkstar, being a puny little elf isnā€™t allowed to use any of the lovely shields !

Something I sussed out ages ago - Create a ā€œtankā€ character for testing that is first alphabetically (mineā€™s Aaron Androvitch lvl 15 via character creator program).
