I am looking to play through the Icewind dale Mod. I have tried both downloading from vault and nexus separately. For nexus I used the Vortex installer and the vault I followed the read me. When I start a game from Vortex or Steam there is no campaign but under modules, the modules are there. I open up the first module and I get hak files missing. So do I need to put the files in the actual game folders or in the My Documents\ Neverwinter Nights 2 game files.?
if there is a video on where this goes and showing me…this would also help.
lastly I use 7Zed to download the files manually and let Vortex download it without my input.

There is definitely a campaign folder called “Icewind Dale” and the modules will not run correctly without it. It’s in the compressed file “iwd_folders_v2.rar”. When uncompressed you will have the campaign folder you need.
I played this a long time ago, multiplayer. It was great fun.
I remember I had to download a couple hacks, which didn’t seem to be a part of the official downloads. One of the hacks was for the airship. I can’t remember what the other one was. It may have been worked out since I played.
