How to create a video?

How can I create a video from something which is shown in NWN 1. Something like CEP: Pegasus mount concept nonfunctional - #7 by meaglyn?

I’ve no idea, but want to learn it. It would be nice to get some pointers, where to look for the needed software.

You can make it with Fraps and use Handbrake to manage filesize.

Hmmm, not completely happy with fraps. Are there alternatives?

I use OBS studio.

OBS is fine and open source. No need to get fancy unless you really want the extra features.
