Good day! I’ve been struggling to revert changes that I’ve made to official campaign .mod files back to .nwm files. What used to be possible (for me) is that I could move the campaign .cpm files to the module folder in My Documents, change the files to .mod files, then make any editions using the toolset, change the files back to .nwm files, then move the files back to the campaign folder. What’s happening now is that the files aren’t reverting back as they used to and that the names are just becoming xxx.nwm.mod files. They should be reverting to nwm files, minus the xxx.mod in their names, but I’ve been unable to get this part working properly. Might anyone be able to walk me through the process of how this is done in today’s world with any recent updates to Windows 10 and/or NWNEE, please?
Something had changed my File Explorer settings for these folders. Going to the File Explorer settings (under the view tab), I had to uncheck “Hide extensions for known types.” I also selected “Show hidden files, folders, and drives.” These were certainly steps that I didn’t have to make in the past, so I’m uncertain exactly what might have caused the changes to occur or when the changes were made to my settings. (Don’t get me started on how OneDrive randomly installs itself, turns itself back on, and will delete all of the files in My Documents folders. No real fix for this one that I’ve discovered).
