Level up doesn't go after level 1

Whenever i level up my PC in campaigns for leve higher than level 1 my character level resets and doesn’t let me progress to level 2

Is that with the console or are you bringing in a higher level character ? If you’re bringing one in then maybe the campaign is setting them back so start the campaign and console dm_givexp ???

it happens when i start a higher level campaign and when i use console givexp cheat too

That’s really weird, maybe try leveling up in the campaign and saving straight after then loading the save other than that I’m out of ideas.

i think it maybe caused by baldur’s gate reloaded. In that mod when i use givexp my characters level up just like normal( i tested it on a save in which my party is around level 5 though)
edit: I tested it on another campaign in which my part is on level 1 and the bug or the glitch persists

You could take anything from Baldur’s Gate out your override if you think it’s responsible.

i started a new campaign in baldur’s gate reloaded with a new character to see if level up is broken and it works for the module

Well if it only works in that mod and no other then that could be the issue but I’ve got no idea what file it would be.

Go into your user folder\ui\default and either remove or rename ingameguix2.ini and it should work properly.

Are you checking in the right folder? There’s one in the game’s installation folder, and one in the user folder, it’s the latter you want. Also make sure you restart the game after having renamed it. I’m able to replicate it here, and it fixes it for me.

what is the right directory?
can you type it here?

Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\ui\default\ is the default location. Same place where you would have installed BGR.

I managed to find the location and deleted ingamegui file. Now it works as normal
