In CEP 3, what file contains the loadsreens.2da? I’m having a heck of a time tracking it down.
Proleric, where are you?
It appears to be in
cep2_top_v21.hak
cep2_add_sb_v1.hak
cep2_add_loads.hak
Which ever is higher in your hak order will apply (if any of them are in there). Not sure why it’s not in the other top hak versions. That seems a little odd to me.
So, the .2da in all of the cep versions is the same? Or is cep 3 a part of cep2? I’m a little confused…
EDIT:
Lookin at my hak list, I’m seeing that the cep2_top haks is exlusive to 2.69 and 2.70 I think. I know there not in my hak list for CEP 3.
Sorry… missed the cep3 part. Not sure what’s in cep3. I think proleric does cep2 (while someone else does cep3) which is what got me going down the wrong path…
No prob meaglyn. Thanks for searching anyway.
No, as you realised, the OP is about CEP 3, which has no haks in common with CEP 2.x.
The dfference between the two forks in the project is explained here.
I still can’t find the file that contains loadscreens.2da.
It’s not in cep3_2da.
you’ve probably already tried this, but just in case…
have you looked for it using nwnexplorer ?
(old version here.)
if you can’t find it w/that, then it’s not in your haks.
Thanks for reminding me about nwnexplorer. I already had it installed. First couple of searches reveal nothing. It’s just not there.
So I reinstall CEP 3.1 and low and behold - there she be.
I must have been toying with it and forgot all about it. Though am uncertain why I would have deleted it.
Module Properties - Custom Content - Check for conflict, confirm the warning.
This will print a list of all files from haks and their location.
nwn is often like a permanent mass confusion spell, where things go haywire and we can’t explain why.
glad you worked it out.
I always forget all about this method! Thanks shadooow.
Sometimes I think the spell is self-inflicted though. lol
