Hi,
So i am not putting this in other section because i would have to duplicate the topic for nwn 1 and nwn 2.
Since that of the way, we can proceed.
So i played some amazing modules for both Nwn 1 and nwn 2 but what i am missing is voice-over.
After playing Chronicles of Myrtana, I was surprised how well voice acting could be implemented by a modding team.
So I wonder are there any modules that are voiced?
I do not mind reading text since I have played games for over 30 years but I was wondering does any mod has voice acting since it would much more pleasant experience.
Thanks for the info,
Cheers
As for me, I tried using voice over for my latest module (it’s being beta tested at the moment) but was so disappointed by the result that I gave up. Tried for three whole days with Eleven Labs, and with that much work, I got the voicing of just one of the companions in my campaign. When I tested it ingame it felt like I was listening to a half-bad actor (even though I had tried to painstakingly make it sound good) reading lines, instead of sounding like a real human being. It took away from the experience rather than added. Maybe in a few years when AI has come further we’ll be able to use this to its full potential.
Anyway, for NWN2 there’s one campaign that has real voice acting (no AI) and that’s Adam Miller’s classic Dark Waters campaign. Highly recommended:

Is it pirate themed module?
It says in the description it is pirate themed, but I don’t remember it being about pirates that much, at least not the first module in the series, but I could remember wrong. In the first module you are a bunch of youngsters on an island disovering some mysterious cave system, but that maybe led to a pirate adventure. It’s been so long since I played this.
Thanks for the info.
