http://www.neverwinternights.info seems to be down due to expired dns hosting. just curious if anyone had any supplementary information about that?
Isn’t it run by Amethyst Dragon?
Haven’t heard from them for quite a while now…
I remember something coming up that they were not going to be able to run the website anymore but had plans to make an archive of it available.
I do not know if that ever came to fruition.
The website is actually still available here: Neverwinter Nights Community Site (NWN) the domain was using that as a source.
I’ll upload the archive to the vault sometime since obviously that may disappear, and maybe transfer anything of note to a few nwn.wiki pages. If people know what pages are worth keeping let me know.
I was the creator/maintainer of the community site. I basically vanished from the NWN community about 5 years ago with a really, really bad case of burnout, but kept the site up and running at neverwinternights.info until this summer. Nobody in the community expressed interest in taking it over in the year before that when I asked, so I let the domain expire.
It looks like a domain reseller scooped up the name.
The site is still technically online, but it’s no longer reachable by the old domain name, and I don’t keep it updated since I don’t keep up with the community these days. You can find it at: https://www.amethyst-dragon.com/neverwinternightsinfo/. This link won’t be expiring anytime soon, since the community site takes up basically no storage space and I continue to use my amethyst-dragon.com site for everything I do.

If you’d like, I can probably host it on my PW’s webserver if you want.
I used to use this alot from your website and I had saved a pdf for offline use some time ago and when I couldn’t reach it online anymore, I uploaded it:
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/other/neverwinter-nights-toolset-features-and-tips
I have no problem hosting it on my site as is. Without the added domain, it doesn’t cost me anything beyond what I’m already paying for hosting all of my other stuff.
However, if anyone would like to take over the site to keep it updated, feel free to download it, make those updates, and host a newer version so people can still make use of it. It’s all community-created/collected info, after all.
Certainly if anyone is interested in updating it, I’d appreciate help with nwn.wiki articles since this is much easier to update and find info on
would it be possible/desirable to get a tarball of the website and archive it on neverwintervault as a sort-of safeguard against force majeure ? it’s pretty easy to get at now that we know where it is and how to get at it, but you never know what fate might have up her wily little sleeve.
