When I visited the NWN2 Discord forum this morning, Dark(Neverwitcher) had this to show about an upcoming project. I must say that I’m utterly impressed with how this looks. The GUI is, IMO, a real treat to look at. Love it! Such nice design! A real feast for the eyes, and I’m all for great visuals. I’m not a multi player guy, myself but…well, I love the Witcher series, all three games (even though Witcher 1 is still my favourite), so…
Interesting and it looks good but I don’t get it ! What game is it Witcher, NWN2 or some hybrid that’s not one thing or the other ?
But more importantly do you get to dump Yennefer and run off with Triss !
LOL! Yes, I too chose Triss (in TW3, I chose Shani in TW1).
It’s NWN2, but they’ve made some kind of Witcher Online game with the NWN2 engine. So, it’s supposed to be The Witcher but it is NWN2, I believe. Does that make any sense? 
Just about, but I prefer them both as single player… I think the Witcher 1 used the same engine as NWN2 but it looked a lot better, especially the water.
Triss all the way for me, but I would have rather thrown the beast child in the swamp than made a choice between her and Shani. Then again Shani probably didn’t like me for bringing a prostitute to her party !
The Witcher 1 actually used the same engine as NWN1.
Me too, I don’t like multiplayer games at all. I played TOR for a while, but only for the story, but aftertoo many hours of grinding in that game I got sick of it.
Same engine as NWN1 ! They really got busy with upgrading the graphics.
The only multiplayer on line game I’ve ever really played was Mario Kart racing on the wii because you could just join in, have a few races and leave. I like my pause button or saving and exiting whenever I feel like it or have to do something so I’d just annoy people by disappearing or going into a standing coma all the time.
Dark got permission from CD Project Red (because they are awesome like that) to make a Witcher game in the NWN2 engine. So Dark and their team are converting NWN2 as much as possible to Witcher. There’s more Witcher style stuff not shown in this video.
