New Polls?

I was wondering how are polls handled on this site? I suppose they are created by an administrator? I noticed there haven’t been any new ones in a long time, but there are still some topics that I would be interested to see a poll of and that I think haven’t been discussed in this form before, like:

  • Of all available default NWN classes, what is your favorite/most used one?

  • Which one is the most useless in your opinion or the least used/favorite?

  • Do you prefer to play NWN in a window, fullscreen or borderless fullscreen?
    (seeing as NWN EE now installs with Window mode as the default and many players complain about the lack of a clearly visible fullscreen option, so it would be interesting to see what is the prevalent preference, at least among the members of this forum)

Does Ollivier Realise he can make his own poll in these forums?

You just click the gear/cog icon on the far right of the toolbar above and select build poll. The above poll will close in 2 days time. You do that by selecting automatically close poll and then entering the date to close on.

I didn’t, but I don’t see a gear/cog icon in the toolbar. Do you mean the toolbar with the magnifying glass, three stripes and my profile icon?

I see. It’s not quite the same as the polls on the NW Vault homepage in terms of visibility, but it’s an interesting alternative. Thanks! :slight_smile:

I think that caused the confusion. No such toolbar was visible in your first post. I was looking for it on the main screen. I now understand that you have to open a post window (new or reply) to see the toolbar with the cog.

It looks like a lot of people didn’t bother to bookmark this pinned illustrated thread that I made back in February 2018 then. It shows many of the mechanics of things that can be done in these threads including the polls.
