According to “AI” there have been attempts at recreating the NWN(1) OC in NWN2 - is this true? Can someone help me find it, in that case? 
I’ve tried searches on main neverwintervault page, but so far my keywords have only produced results that are irrelevant. So, either “my I” isn’t good enough, or “AI” is lying to me…

iirc someone recreated the NWN1 prologue just to show it could be done, but that’s hardly that much of the game.
While it has its faults, the OC in NWN1 is far better than that of NWN2. I like NWN2’s interface just as well however, and prefer 3.5 over 3e rules. So it would be cool if it was possible to play NWN1 in NWN2.

A very controversial statement. To say that the original company and plot are better in NWN1 than NWN2.

It was meant as and I would have thought also interpreted as a matter of personal preference. But in case it really has to be stated explicitly: “IMO”.

That they do. 
While I wasn’t exactly ecstatic about the main antagonist in NWN1 she beat the KoS by far, in my eyes.
But for both games the expansions is where they truly shine: SoU and HotU for NWN1 and MotB for NWN2.
IMO, I should probably add.
