I remembered your stuff and was looking through what we did … but the issue had progressed a bit further …

Oh, i did not read the initial post carefully enough. If he could go to blacklake district it was indeed a different bug. It seems he was locked in the very first cutscene that launches in blacklake at the start of act 2 before the ragged flaggorn cutscene. The area transition did not work for some reason oO.
