Old-timer (2002-2009), coming back after a 9-year absence. I’ll skip the irrelevant NWN life story (however entertaining!) and just ask — what are people doing for persistent data storage these days? Is NWNX still viable? Something else better suited?

PS after browsing a bit more I see there is a subforum specifically for scripting. I see I may be able to move it…

And yep. NWNX is still the thing to use for persistent data. There’s a different version of NWNX for Enhanced Edition, though.
