Hi Everyone,
It’s been a while…
I want to blend Mocap animations a_ba_non_combat.mdl
His vault entry found here: Mocap Animations | The Neverwinter Vault
With my own…I have no clue how to do this?
This is my a_ba_non_combat attached
a_ba_non_combat.zip (381.7 KB)
And his that I renamed NEWa_ba_combat.mdl
NEWa_ba_non_combat.zip (1.8 MB)
I had to change his script symbol “@” to “#” symbol because the “@” symbol is used for my “Ventriloquism” spell in my OnPlayerChat script. Not sure if that matters or not with the mdl. I did change the symbol in his demo mod and it still worked.
Can some one help me with this please
Be even more awesome if this could be put on a wand to call these from.
So you already have an animation file? If not you just use the mdl file in a hakpack.
If you want to do something like merge you might be best doing a chain so have your file supermodel to the mo cap one which then supermodel back to a_ba or whatever yours originally did.
Not quite sure what you mean here. I attached both files above (zipped) can you look at them and merge them for me as I do not know how to do that.
I tried to just add the Mocap animations to the bottom of my current animations but it did not work
EDIT: When I just put Mocap at the end of mine…it broke some of my other animations and his did not work
Time to learn? I told you what fields need editing.
If I could understand what you mean by “doing a chain” and “supermodel” I could follow. But, I don’t.
Do you have a step-by-step procedure? What seems easy for you isn’t for me
You haven’t even explained why you have an existing a_ba_non_combat so it’s really hard to explain how to do something when you’re not responding to my questions.
Asking me outright to do it isn’t going to happen.
Hi Jasperre
I figured it out. Thanks…sort of understood what you said after awhile. Spent lots of time experimenting and got it to work.
I had posted above both my original a_ba_non_combat (yes I had other animations already) and the mocap animations mdl…I just thought you could blend them for me.
But it’s done now.
So I will consider this resolved.
