hi there,
i’d like to request an enhancement to the ‘advanced search’ option on the search page. categories like ‘ad’, ‘blog entry’, etc., aren’t very useful to me. much more useful would be categories like:
- modules
- tools
- tilesets
- models
- etc.
or at least something to specify that i want only modules, or builder resources, or tools, etc.
i’m aware that these are all currently available under the ‘project’ category, but a single category for all of these different types of resources is really pretty coarse-grained; a finer sieve would be much more helpful.

Ah! AHA! that’s great. 
didn’t even know that existed.
after searching about a bit, i now see that it’s accessed via the ‘projects’ link at the top of the screen.
many thanks, that makes things much easier.

EDIT : i take that back after using this a bit. while the ‘project filter’ does allow choosing large categories, such as ‘hak packs’, it doesn’t allow specifying a search key. the end result is that it takes almost as much time to find something as using the search function.
what i have in mind is a search function like the one on the old vault, where you could specify both a search key and a category. would something like that be possible?

Almost there for me. The ability to discriminate by game would be very useful too (e.g. NwN, EE, NwN 2, IceBlink) or would that be too close to what you get when you select Projects from the menu on the main page?
