I think the one in the module load …
SetGlobalInt(CAMPAIGN_SWITCH_USE_PERSONAL_REPUTATION, TRUE);
… just affects if players’ PCs can harm their own associates when spell casting dangerous spells in hard core rules or above. E.g. PCs can damage their own associates with a fireball when this is TRUE and the player is playing hard core rules or above.
As far as I am aware, this does not have any other effect, although I am now going to double check. EDIT: OK, Just checked this and as far as I can see, this is the only difference. i.e. Associates suffered from a dangerous spell, but otherwise did not appear upset.
