I have the NWN2 complete and it defaults to the Westgate music. How do I get it to default to OC or Mask of the Betrayer?

I know I changed this a few years ago. Don’t quite remember how I did it, but I think it was rather simple. Let me have a look and I’ll get back to you.

Alright. I assume you want to change the music for the main menu, right? I finally found out how I did that. Go to your Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/music_x2 folder. There I think you should have a file called nx2_mus_maintheme.bmu. If you haven’t, copy the music that you want for the menu music, put it there, and then rename the music you want to nx2_mus_maintheme.bmu and it should work.

it’s a GUI thing. it’s tied to the GUI background.

so either you can restore the GUI background to a previous version, or you can edit the GUI files.
