The Scroll (v1.32E) *** NOW AVAILABLE! *** (9 JUN 20) Optional Module (2nd Revsion) Available

Hi All,

The v1.32E remains the latest version. I have, however, uploaded a second version of the module, which is an optional download, as using it requires a fresh start compared to a campaign update. All it does is correct some quantities of arrow drops. There are too many on some creatures. E.g. Bugbears and goblins in the Holy Mountains.

THE SCROLL LATEST VERSION (v1.32E) NOW AVAILABLE!

The TLK is now included with the campaign folder download, as it is only likely needed for an update when something in the campaign folder changes anyway. (NB: I will inform you if and when the TLK is updated. Nevertheless, the CAMPAIGN folder will always contain the latest TLK file.)

The latest TLK update was included with v1.24E

(i) Removed number of loop checks to ensure item control is more efficient. Uses SetLocalObject, but this updates on entering an area and should stay updated.

(ii) Discovered scaled objects set useable loses ability to use if selected after a reload. Reworked code to recreate object so it can be interacted at all times. E.g. Melicamp’s Gold. NB: Games already started may not gain the full benefits of this fix. A fresh start is best for maximum benefits.

(iii) At a players request, left clicking a loot item no longer opens the inventory with a description. This is now managed with a right-click instead. (Right click the icon will also offer PC Transfer from container.)

(iv) At a players request, this Spell Duration Remain Scroll can now been fully disabled (never show) from the Althea Main Menu, even if casting spell on the caster. The previous two options remain as part of a total three way toggle.

WARNING: Do NOT apply any cheats with this module, as they break the module. I have witnessed broken scripts and drastic balance issues that do not favour the player applying the cheats. Please contact me if you want help playing, but do not resort to cheats. The game will only be difficult if you do not take the time to understand how it is played. This module requires you to think! It is not like any other module that can have such workarounds easily applied without breaking it. Thank you for your understanding.
