So I’ve been trying to find the pass phrase to get into Laris’ Curios for 3 days now. I’ve already got information in Elmwood that says Eremuth will be meeting someone in Laris’s Curios, but I can’t think of anything that will lead me to the pass phrase. I considered three possibilities but they were all a bust:
1.) Trying to eavesdrop on the two doppelgangers arguing in the Still Waters Inn. I guess that’s not possible.
2.) Eremuth might have carved the pass phrase on one one of the standing stones at the druid grove. He did not.
3.) He left it on a piece of paper or something in his temporary hideout in the well. He did not.
Anyone know where to track down the pass phrase? Is it even possible?
Having a look in the toolset should help. But I don’t recall that there is a passphrase necessary for anything. Which version of TOM are we talking about? I guess the new one?
Yes, the new one. In the quest “The Unseen” it says Eremuth is meeting a contact at Laris’s Curios and his journal, which mentioned this, did not specify a passphrase. When I try to enter Laris’s Curios, it asks for a passphrase and offers a few choices, but none of them are correct. I’ve learned (outside of the game) what the passphrase is, but I cannot find how my character learns it.
I also cannot open the module in the toolset. It says it’s missing the hak paks, which I assume have to be copied somewhere (where I don’t know.)
Ah sorry, I confused this with the other two modules of @Alazander, which are published as enhanced edition here in the vault. The old version of TOM gives no clue to this quest.
