Unhandled exception

Everytime I try to put anew creature into a module I am creating I get this unhandled exception. ATM I only have CEP haks, I have checked all the hak files. Do I need to place the 2da files in override instead of a hak? Any suggestions.

Hello Hafek. Which CEP are you using? (There’s more than one version, I believe.)

You could just reply with the link.

that’s a bug of death.

The “good news” is: it may be a “*.2da” problem, or a “model” problem. Find what is faulty, and use something else or correct it, and you’ll be all good.

The “Bad news” is: you may nevers identify what is faulty and corrupted, and in those case, the only solution is to go back to an older version.

CEP?
NWN1 or NWN:EE?

There is no CEP for NWN2, you can’t use NWN or NWN EE content in NWN2 without changing and working a lot on it to make it NWN2 compatible.

SO far as I know it is the latest … I will check tho

OK

I asked because I was thinking the same thing that Shallina mentioned, which is that using the CEP projects would not work because they are not compatible with NWN2. I asked about which one you are using so I could go look and make sure I was correct in that.

You can confirm that on the project page. It should be pretty explicit about which NWN version(s) it can be used with.

Try looking for 3C as a content expansion

Hi Hafek,

That looks like the clue I needed! Is this what you are using?

https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/combined/community-content-compilation-3c-v100

I also found these two packages that were released at the same time. I don’t have time at the moment (RL is breathing down my neck, all sulfur & brimstone like) to look any further, so I include them for completeness. They were last modified 2015-01-16, the same as the main compilation linked above.

The second is for “resource fixes” so you might try installing it to see if you get lucky and it addresses the problem. Note that it is an override, so it needs to go in the override folder. That can screw up other things, particularly if you have lots of haks or campaigns installed. So, try reducing things to just the minimal necessary if you try it out.
