@Carlo you mentioned at the top of this thread that it would be good to see a group go through this. Iā€™ve actually started a run of this just a few days ago with some friends. Weā€™ve got 3 or 4 more sessions scheduled over the next few weeks. I took a few screenshots, but is there anything I should be doing in terms of documenting that or otherwise prepping for a submission to DMFI certification?

Released beta4, which includes two new quests, a few improvements and some fixes. Beyond any fixes or bugs, this is pretty close to the final version. Iā€™ve now got two different groups running this on a weekly basis, so Iā€™m sure weā€™ll find a few as go. Thanks to everyone for the help!

DM guide finally uploaded! Iā€™m sure it is full of typos, but at 109 pages itā€™s at least comprehensive.

Released beta5 after feedback from @Proleric and finished two multiplayer runs. Fixes a number of bugs and includes some minor improvements. Iā€™m about to start another weekly group and will probably make the final version after that. Thanks again, all!

@vendalus I havenā€™t been on the forum for a while, so hadnā€™t seen this. Would be great to add this to the official DMFI list on the vault and promote it for general multiplayer use as well.

The general certification requirements can be found linked below. With full docs included in the package and if we can get folks to attest to the multiplayer run-throughs, that should probably do it. Please ping me if youā€™re around. Thanks for all your work (again!) on this module.

Hi @Carlo,

Thanks for the note. Definitely would be great to get SKS listed there. I just finished a second run with a group last week and Iā€™m close to releasing a new version.

Iā€™ll probably get some of the players to attest to the play-though on the module page once the new version is up. Let me know what else you think would be good from there.

Thank you!

Wonderful! Iā€™ll look for the new version announcement and take a look at the updated package once itā€™s posted.

Thanks. Planning to go through a final test run this week. Hope to have something soon!

Released version beta6! This contains a whole new ending conversation to help give weight to player choices and numerous small improvements based on the most recent multiplayer run (which I had a blast DMing).

This feels pretty close to final, so please give it a try!

I got some great feedback on this last version and Iā€™m hoping to have a v1.0 released in the next few weeks.

One dumb question: Is there some way to roll over downloads when you release a new version? It makes me sad to see that number drop back down to 0.

The only way I know is to add the old download count to the file description, as in this example.

If it makes a difference, you could always leave the old file package up on the Vault page (with its download count) and add the new one separately. As long as the versions are clearly labeled, not really a problem.

Iā€™ve done that in a couple instances, but only when thereā€™s a major difference (script systems, haks, etc.) between old and new versions. Otherwise if you intend to keep updating the current version, it starts looking cluttered to have every iteration available for download.

For just labeling purposes, Prolericā€™s solution also works, of course.

Agreed, problem is some players will always download the wrong versionā€¦

For those who are interested, I just released the first full version. Feeling good about that going into the weekend! If you decide to play it, Iā€™m happy to receive feedback. Thank you!
