Where Are These Textures to be Found?

I have @TheBarbarian’s skeletons and would like to reskin them. Trouble is they don’t come with any textures, rather they apparently use standard textures but they don’t appear to be from 1.69 (looked in Rolo’s standard assets). Here is the list of what I am trying to find -

c_ske_com_pelvi
c_ske_com_thigh
c_ske_com_shin
c_ske_com_foot
c_ske_com_thigh
c_ske_com_torso
c_ske_com_bicep
c_ske_com_farm
c_ske_com_hand
c_ske_com_head

Thanks.

They’re a game default so data/textures_01.bif if you want the sckrunkly tga files, or textures_tpa.erf if you want the higher quality DDS

No answers for you (Was struggling with this myself actually) , but thank you for this!

OK. Little problem here. The tga bif has roughly 1000 files in it but NWN Explorer Reborn just gives a generic name with a number and not the actual texture name. Also it won’t even open the dds erf file. So how do I find the ones that I want? Is there a better tool with a gui?

Thanks.

See my comments on that tool - endure you have the latest version, which I think is

and use it to open nwn_base.key using the big open button.

It is that version and your instructions worked in that I was able to get the tga versions. Alas, couldn’t get the dds. FWIW, the tga images are so tiny I don’t know that I can improve them at all.

Thanks anyway.

The old NWN explorer works on it fine with standard edition if you need me to drag 'em out

No, it would be good if anyone has a clue how to open those texture packs in data\txpk.

Neither NWNExplorer nor nwhak seem to work.

Only if they are larger (more pixels) than the too tiny to work with, tga images.

Thanks for the offer though.

They are inside txpk_misc.bif

They can be opened with a hex editor :-). There are just a few bytes … seemingly nothing of importance. Maybe the files just placeholders.
