After fighting with the AI and timing issues trying to make seated bar patrons sit and stay seated, I’ve opted to turn them into placeables. Although you lose a lot of functionality, they can still be spoken to, speak one-liners, and generally do what they are supposed to - sit in the background as part of the scenery.
AND… it takes less cpu.
So it does - I hadn’t actually thought of that.
